How this tool works

Open an image and choose the output dimensions. WebP Generator reads JPG, PNG and other formats supported by your browser, crops or resizes them and saves WebP files. Adjust quality to balance file size and image detail.

Compare the original and result and choose a filename before downloading. Images are processed on your device. For color correction and reference looks, use Color Optimizer first. Website previews load the external page you choose in your browser.

Open Batch, add multiple photos or use the browser collection. Choose original dimensions, Fit inside or Crop, and set WebP quality. Crop alignment controls which area is kept. Small images are only enlarged if you enable that option. Create the batch and download the results as a ZIP with a file name of your choice.

Frequently asked questions

How do I convert JPG or PNG to WebP?

Open the image, choose dimensions and quality, then download the result as a WebP file.

Does a smaller file always keep the same quality?

No. Stronger lossy compression can change details. Compare the original and result and check quality before downloading.

What should the best WebP generator offer?

Look for a live preview, adjustable quality, precise image dimensions and local processing. This tool combines those features with cropping and original comparison. The best choice depends on your images and workflow.

Can I process a whole image batch?

Up to 100 images, 1 GiB in total. Files up to 40 MiB, or 256 MiB from the collection. Output: up to 24 megapixels and 12,000 pixels per side.
